The piece count includes the table. A 5-piece set is a table and four chairs, such as the Birmingham 5-Piece with its 39.25-inch square table. A 7-piece set is a table and six chairs, such as the La Costa 7-Piece with its 86.5-inch live-edge table. 9-piece sets (Isla, La Costa, Manorhouse) seat eight. Family dining sets from Dalton, Venice, Devon and Birmingham suit larger households; bistro sets from Stella, Valencia and Devon suit balconies.
The Pearl, La Costa and Director counter-height sets raise the table to 36 inches; the Pearl 5-Piece Counter Height Set pairs a 60 by 24-inch table with four sling chairs. The La Costa, Palm, Oasis and Director bar sets sit higher still. Matching stools are in bar and counter seating.
Construction and care
Every set ships as a coordinated group, so seat height, table height and clearance are already right. Several sets are contract-grade, tested to BIFMA 5.1; see commercial teak furniture for trade projects. Chairs on most sets arrive fully assembled; tables require full assembly, best handled by two people.
New teak arrives golden brown and, left untreated, weathers to a soft silver-grey over roughly 6 to 24 months. The change is cosmetic. Clean twice a year with mild soap and water, scrubbing with the grain, and avoid pressure washers.
