From a single workshop to the world's most trusted teak

There is a certain kind of living that happens outdoors—unhurried, sun-warmed, and deeply connected to the rhythm of nature. At HiTeak Furniture, we believe these moments deserve more than just furniture. They deserve presence. They deserve permanence.

HiTeak was created with a simple intention: to shape outdoor spaces that feel as considered and enduring as the homes—and projects—they belong to. Spaces where mornings begin slowly, where conversations linger into the evening, and where every piece quietly supports the life unfolding around it.

Our Process

Six stages, zero shortcuts

Selection

Every log is hand-selected at the plantation. We reject over 70% of available timber — accepting only mature heartwood with verified oil density above 4.8%.

Seasoning

Accepted timber is kiln-dried to 8-12% moisture, then stored for a full additional season. This patience eliminates warping and cracking for life.

Joinery

Master joiners cut every mortise-and-tenon by hand. Each joint is hydraulically stress-tested to 3x its expected lifetime load before approval.

Shaping

Curves are sculpted, not bent. Our artisans remove material slowly, following the grain's natural direction to preserve integrity.

Finishing

Seven progressively finer sanding stages, ending at 320 grit. No lacquer, no sealant — only the wood's natural oils.

Inspection

Every piece undergoes a 47-point quality inspection. Any flaw sends the piece back. We ship only what we'd put on our own terrace.
