Should I apply oil or a finish to keep the Royal looking new?
No. HiTeak does not recommend applying Teak oil or any synthetic finish. Teak produces its own oils naturally, and adding more disrupts the wood's natural weathering process and will void the warranty. The only recommended product is HiTeak Teak Protector, which works with the wood rather than against it.
